We started by 3 lectures. First of all Caroline presented her research in Brabygden and Braknean River with young generation's interviews, than I made a presentation of how to analyse
farming practices related to landscape changes then Eva who has just arrived presented the implementation of landscape convention and how to deal with. A very interesting and usefull presentation
that has given many ideas for the work.
We ate earlier to spare time for the field work. The groups split and started to visit people and drive interviews. Many thanks to our helpers Terese and Stina for having prepared the meetings
yesterday evening.
Rain came back in the end of the afternoon but it doesn't stop our enthousiasm. During the dinner, the Slovenian started to sing a song to say good bye to Isabel who must leave us before the end
of the seminar. Next year she promised us to stay all the time.
It was also the opportunity for our Slovnian guitar player to create the specific song of the seminar "Roland along the Brakenean river "

we started this day by a a little enquiery. As it is the 5th time that we organize the lamb seminar, we need to know better what students were expecting before arriving in order to evaluate at the
end if they have reeched their aims. Everyone had to write few sentences around the 3 main points for them.
Then the morning continued by Ann Katrin's lecture "European landscape convention : be a landscape ambassador"
after this nice presentation, the groups strated to work and prepare how they decided to organize their work.
After the lunch, each group presented in few slides their program and a very interesting discussion permit to clarify some points. It is very pleasant to notice that each group was proposing a work
that enlights the work of the others.
At 3.00 pm, we traveled to Ronneby municipality and met some officials that present us many usefull information related to the territory
At 6.00 pm we visited the naturum , where we collected other informations related to the agricultural history of the place and the day ended with a nice dinner in the Brunnpark caffee.

Tuesday afternoon, we had a visit to the schools in Brakne Hoby. As the group was to large, we split it in two subparts, one visiting the primary school , the other group the agricultural school.
We still have spoken of this visit but we wanted to thank a lot the 5 girls who have accepted to present their school , studies and way of living, in English while they didn't know exactly what we
were. Everybody has been impressed by their enthousiasm and their courageWhen we were 16 years old we are not sure to have been abbe to do the same
many thanks to them

new day, new adventures
at half past eight, we started the lectures by 2 presentations : different ways of landscape representations by Jean François Rodriguez and how to use landscape scenarios as a tool to
facilitate the local participation. A litlle coffee brake after, the groups started their own work till midday. that has permit us to define several qustions to ask to the
people that we will meat in the afternoon
it was a little fresh in the room however, the students look like happy!
After a nice lunch (as usual), we started a new trip in the north part of the valley.
The upper part of the river is more wild and seams to be natural. in fact, it is more complex. If these ladcapes are so nice, it is related to the the former activites in a combination of
traditional farming activity and smaill indusrial economy.

The river has deaply organised the life and the landscapes. After a visit of a salmon farm and a shop
settled in the place of an abonned factory, we contined our trip in the middle of wild appearance nature now dominated by orest and occupated by wild animals (wild boars, deers, elks)
To conclude this intense day, we finished by nice dinner and meeting with local association members around a very tasty elk meal.
