A visit to a major involved inthe UNESCO process. The lake Fertö is an Unesco Heritage since 2001. The originality of the project is related to the fact that it is a transnational project, between Hungary and Austria.

However, it seems that there is not to many partnerships between the municipalities. The project has been basically droven by the national authorities and the local stakeholders don't seem to be concerned a lot by this label.
