D 5 building the methodology

After Anne-Katrine lecture about aesthetic in the landscape, 

each group summed up its investigations and presented his tasks and the basis of the methodology to the others. Even if it takes time for 5 groups to explain their expectations, this period is necessary to avoid at the end misunderstandings and lacks for being able to connect these different approaches.

 

During the afternoon, each group has taken his independence. Some stayed inside to analyse statistical data or to prepare their interviews. Other take profit of an little break in this heavy rainfall period to come back on the field.

At 6.00 pm, Joao Bernardo from Evora university presented his lecture about the valuation of nature, a personal discussion about the interest and difficulties of trying to give a value to Nature. 
It was too late to continue the debate that started after his presentation but certainly, we will come back to this hot subject.

After João Bernado presentation, as in some other presentations, a very interesting discussion came up. Unfortunatly we didn´t had enought time to debate this matter, but it could be very interesting to have some time for this kind of discussions. Indeed they are part of the learning process, and also they are very good to change ideas between the different participants.I would say that such discussions, with the participation of both teachers and students, could be a very bright side in LAMB.
