WELCOME TO THE 2008 LANDSCAPE AMBASSADOR!!!
I am Helena Menezes, member fo the 2008LA organization from the University of Évora, together with Prof. Teresa Pinto-Correia.
The Landscape Ambassador of 2008 will be, in a town called Montemor-o-Novo, in the Municipality of Montemor-o-Novo, which belongs to the District of Évora. Montemor-o-Novo is at 1 hour distance from Lisbon and 20 minutes from Évora.
The course will be held in the "Espaço do Tempo" - National Centre for Trandisciplinary Arts, located in Convento da Saudação, a high point of the city of Montemor-o-Novo, with a spectacular view over the surrounding landscape.
People participating in the 2008 LA:
Students: 35 (10-Portugal, 9-France, 5-Slovenia, 3-Hungry, 4-Norway and 4-Sweden, including 5 portuguese students who have already participate in other LA seminars, and will be additional help for the first coming students);
Periscape LA teachers: 6 (1-Portugal, 2-France, 1-Slovenia, 1-Hungry, 1-Norway and 1-Sweden);
Organization: 2 from the University of Évora (Helena Menezes and Periscape LaA teacher Teresa Pinto-Correia) and staff from the "Espaço do Tempo";
Other portuguese teachers: 7
