Day 1 : discovering the context with farmers

First of all, we have to present you the great supervisor Teresa who has prepared the program with her colleagues

And the staff composed of ancient “landscape ambassador students”

A little presentation of the main aims of the seminar and we took the bus to start the visits with a new way of travelling…

 

One large and extensive farm with sucking cows and cork production in the typical montado landscape

 

One small traditional one with sheep, olive trees and vegetable production

And one organic farm, producing olive oil and breeding flock

 

It is the time of discovery with all these new impressions as you can imagine!

At the end of the afternoon, we finished the students cross presentations and this first day ended b a nice dinner offered by the Montemor municipality.
