D2 : going inside the process

Publié le par Yves Michelin

At 9.00 am, everybody was ready to assist to Teresa presentation. Multifunctionnality of the landscape : what does that mean? She exposed us the basic concepts that we will use during the seminar. One hour later, some representatives of the municipality presented us the main data and pieces of information they had about the case study area. And to conclude the morning, we worked by groups about what we wanted to ask to the stakeholders we had planned to meet at the end of the afternoon.

In the afternoon, we experimented the “blind landscape” exercise. One person, in front of the landscape, describes what he sees to the others who turn their back to the view.

At the end, we compared the drawing with the view to better understand why they are some differences, why it was so difficult. At least, a discussion started about how each discipline deals with the landscape description. (main results in a future issue)

At 4.00 pm, we had a long and intensive exchange with the local stakeholders about their expectations.P1080016.JPG
And now, it is the preparation of the local products meal prepared by the students
